Modality Descriptions

Here is a description of modalities used in my programs.

Isometric exercise

Isometric exercise is a muscle contraction with no visible movement at the joint.

Benefits include STRENGTHENING, sculpting, toning, weight loss.  There are also impressive cardiovascular benefits..

Body Rolling

Body rolling uses balls that are 6 to 10 inches in diameter in very muscle specific routines to release stress and tension.  You will work on creating space and length in your body with the ball.

Benefits include reduced pain and discomfort, and improved posture.

TRX

This is a suspension system that allows you to use your own body weight as resistance.  This is an extremely versatile system that you can use effectively for a full body workout.

Benefits include strength gains and improved balance

Floor exercise

Among the top 5 exercises in the fitness industry is the plank and pushups.  There are many floor exercises that you can do on a mat that are challenging and effective at any fitness level.

Benefits include strength gains and more flexibility.

The modalities that I use are all easily transferrable to a home routine as an added benefit!
